City advises of postponement of water network upgrades in Blue Downs/Kuilsriver areas

A previous City of Cape Town media release on 13 November 2020, indicated that a planned network upgrade would result in disruption of the water supply to large parts of Blue Downs/Kuilsriver from 00:00 on Saturday, 27 November until 00:00 on Monday, 29 November 2020. Read more below:

The areas that would have been affected by the disruption of the water supply are; Dennemere, Austinville, Blackheath Industrial, Happy Valley, Summerville, Hagley, Saxenburg, Ou Nooiensfontein, Nuwe Nooiensfontein, Dannarand, Sarepta, Kalkfontein, Highbury, Voelvlei, Mabille Park and Wesbank.

Please be advised that this work has been postponed and a new date and time for this will be set up and communicated in advance to the affected communities
